Polysealant is a custom-engineered flexible butyl blend sealant for use in a wide range of applications including:
Polysealant bonds instantly to joint surfaces and to itself. Always butt ends together - never overlap. Leave the protective release paper on sealant during application and remove only when ready to couple using appropriate pressure. Joint surfaces should be clean and dry.
Due to the high adhesive quality of Polysealant, priming of the joints normally is not required. However, should wet or unusual applications exist we offer PolyPrimer adhesive. Simply coat the joint surface and allow to dry at least ten minutes prior to installation.
This is to certify that Polysealant, a pre-formed flexible butyl rubber mastic, complies with current standards and specifications required by Federal, State and local regulatory agencies and meets or exceeds the requirements of AASHTO M-198B and ASTM C-990. It is considered safe for potable drinking water storage facilities.
